In support of the International Year of Microcredit in 2005, the UNAA Victoria hosted an international conference on Microcredit. The conference was attended by both international and national speakers and guests, and provided an important outlet to highlight the benefits of microcredit in the alleviation of poverty and assisting families on low incomes.
