Membership

There are a variety of ways you can become involved in the UNAA (Victorian Division). The best way is to become a member of the Association.

Membership will provide you with a direct link to the Association. It will enable you to keep up-to-date with UNAA activities and you will be invited to all members' evenings and events.

You will receive the quarterly UNAA (Victorian Division) e-bulletin, which includes regular updates on the Association's programs and activities, news and events as well as current issues. You will also receive the national UNAA weekly newsletter, entitled UNity, that will keep you informed on the latest UN related information.

Volunteering & Internships

The UNAA (Victorian Division) also has volunteering and internship opportunities, especially for students. Volunteers and interns are involved in a range of roles and responsibilities in the UNAA Victoria office, and assist with the many programs and activities held throughout the year.

We are currently accepting applications for Semester 2, 2008 internships. Applications close on Wednesday April 30.

Donate

Support the work of the UNAA (Victorian Division) by making a donation. Your donation will assist us to continue our work promoting the aims and ideals of the United Nations and providing education and information referral services to members of the Australian community. The Association relies on the generous support of individuals and organisations to run its many programs and activities.

Bequest

A bequest or legacy to the UNAA (Victorian Division) in your Will is a wonderful way of making a significant contribution to help us continue our work promoting the programs and principles of the United Nations and providing community education and information referral services to future generations. By including the UNAA (Victorian Division) in your Will now, you can express your commitment to the aims and ideals of the United Nations and further the work of the Association.

Bequests provide an invaluable form of support and allow us to provide many services that would otherwise not have been possible. There are a variety of bequests you can make. You may choose to leave: a specific sum of money; a percentage of your estate; a residual bequest; a gift of property, shares, artwork or insurance policies. The UNAA (Victorian Division) welcomes bequests of any type.

Making a Will is an important step for every individual. It ensures that the people and organisations that you care about are provided for after your death. It is also a personal decision. We suggest that you talk over your wishes with your family and a legal advisor before making your Will.

It is very easy to make the UNAA (Victorian Division) one of your beneficiaries. Please let us know of your decision to leave a bequest. By advising us of your intentions you will help us plan for the future and allow us to thank you personally.

Sponsorship

The UNAA (Victorian Division) relies upon funding and support in order to run its many programs and activities and continue its work, particularly its role in public education, information referral and advocacy. The UNAA (Victorian Division) welcomes both financial and in-kind sponsorship. Key sponsorship opportunities include: the annual national World Environment Day Awards and Media Peace Awards programs; and the Model UN Conference program for Victorian secondary schools and universities.
