Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives of the United Nations Association of Australia, Victorian Division, are as follows:

 To support the United Nations in attaining its purpose according to its Charter.

 To increase the level of knowledge about the United Nations and its related agencies within the Australian community.

 To ensure Australians understand the rights and responsibilities Australia has as a UN member state.

 To consult with and make recommendations to the Government on UN matters.

 To encourage cooperation among organisations interested in the economic, social and cultural development of all peoples.
