As part of the upcoming Transitions Film Festival and Sustainable Living Festival the United Nations Association of Australia (Victoria) presents Our World 2.0 - Short Films & Forum

Showcasing short documentaries about global solutions, this forum will explore the global transition movement toward a sustainable society, pathways to a green economy and 2012, the United
Nations' Year of Renewable Energy for All.

The Our World 2.0 video series is a stunning collection of shorts which shares the ideas and actions of citizens from around the world who are transforming our lives for the better. The films highlight solutions to the global challenges of climate change, food security, biodiversity loss and peak oil. The shorts will be followed by an interactive forum hosted by the United Nations Association of Australia and will include an impressive line-up of guest speakers.

The forum will be hosted by Graham Hunter, President of the United Nations Association of Australia (Victoria) with guest speakers: John Wiseman – Melbourne Sustainable Society Insititute; Giselle Wilkinson – Transition Decade; Philip Sutton – Research and Strategies from Transitions Initiation; and Dan Atkins – The Shaper Group.
